World Earth Day: Small Actions, Local Impact

To mark World Earth Day, a few members of the Opalion team stepped away from their day‑to‑day roles to take part in a litter‑picking session around our site and the surrounding local area.

It was a simple way to give something back to the environment we operate in and help keep nearby paths, green spaces and shared areas tidy. Small efforts like this can make a real difference, and it was great to see the team getting involved and taking pride in the local area.

Alongside our own clean‑up, we were also pleased to support Mayflower Washroom Solutions by sponsoring their World Earth Day litter‑picking activity. As a business that shares our commitment to responsible working and looking after local environments, it was great to be able to back their efforts on the day.

World Earth Day serves as a reminder that sustainability doesn’t always mean large‑scale initiatives. Sometimes it’s about taking practical action, working together, and doing what you can — both as a business and as individuals.
